The success of the first suite of Championsheeps games led to a further series of games being commissioned by CBBC to promote series 3 of Shaun the Sheep – adding to the sports park and adding new competitive features. The new games were produced in 3D to provide an even more immersive and rich gaming experience. CBBC GAMES is a category for kids, where every child can find a fun game for themselves. Here Kids can play and train logical thinking.
WE WERE ASKED TO…
Come up with online game to support the launch of series 2 of Shaun the Sheep on CBBC.
SO WE MADE…
Championsheeps, a collection of games that see Shaun and friends left alone on the farmyard for the day, where they entertain themselves by holding an Olympic style competition to see who will be crowned the Championsheep of the farm. Each game represents a different sporting or outdoor activity, but with a surreal, Shaun the Sheep twist, from bowling hedgehogs, high dives into muddy puddles and outrunning aliens! The games were created to inspire a little bit of friendly competition hooking into CBBC’s game API to unlock achievements, special modes and compete against friends on the highscore board.
AS A RESULT…

The suite has consistently been in the CBBC’s top game charts and has been nominated for numerous awards including a Childrens’ BAFTA.
