Unconventional serial numbers are also found on Mosin Nagants. Here is an uncommon case where the original serial number on the barrel is struck out and a new one added. It is a Czech M91/38 cut down from an M91. An interesting side note is the 'Serbian crown' mark to the right of the Izhevsk 'bow and arrow' arsenal mark. Could swear I read one recently about Kahr serial numbers/production dates that I was going to post this in but can't find it again. Anyway after reading one post from back in 2004. The only serial number type number I can find is on the metal part of the receiver where the back part of the stock connects to the front part, right behind the trigger. On here it has a SIX digit number 370XXX in large digits. I haven't been able to find ANY mention of a six digit serial number (with no letters in it).

Please enclose copies of any previous correspondence. Please do not include holsters, custom grips, or accessories with any firearm being shipped to the factory for service.
Service work performed, other than approved Warranty repairs, will carry a minimum hourly charge of $65.00 plus a $25.00 return shipping and handling charge. Retain your tracking number when shipping firearms for repair. This will allow you to track the status of your firearm shipment either by phone or the website of the carrier. Please allow three weeks for the return of a handgun.
